De-Watering Wells

Water Outflow From A Typical De-Watering WellThis is the removal of water from an underground source. This is often done when a major construction project requires that many layers of top soil be removed to make way for the new construction but the underground water levels are too near the surface.

Project Dewatering is an effective and innovative sub-contract solutions to groundwater problems using deep wells, drilling, supplying and installation of pumping equipment together with site management throughout.

Why would you De-water a well?

Currently, the most common use of a dewatering well drilling is for dewatering a shallow aquifer to facilitate construction of underground utilities, a road, or a building foundation. Many of these wells are constructed and decommissioned in Ireland every year.
